Tight Little Community
Mrs. George E. Snyder, Jr., of 204 Barrie road, describes Narberth as a "tight little community."
"It's a definite community where the people's main and top interest is the working of the borough of Narberth," she said.
Mrs Snyder is the wife of an investment broker. They have three children, and have lived in Narberth for 17 years.
"I'm very fond of the little town," she said, "and I like the friendliness of the people. The shopping center is fairly complete here and you can do all your marketing in town.
"One of the main complaints about Narberth," she continued, "is that it's so low that water rushes into the center of town during a heavy storm."
Mrs. Snyder said that wading boots are often needed during a heavy storm and added, "The most needed improvement is adequate sewers to rid the town of rain after a heavy storm."
